中國每年470萬人因汙染、肥胖死亡

中美科學家研究報告指出，每年至少有470萬中國人因空氣汙染、吸菸、肥胖與車禍等意外事故死亡，並帶來數百億美元的成本。

刊在「刺針」 (Lancet)雜誌的報告表示，中國在健康方面已有一些很好的進展，平均壽命從1950年代的40歲提高到2011年的76歲，很多傳染病也銷聲匿跡。但另方面，因為空汙、吸菸、車禍與「生活風格」問題帶來的疾病和早夭，則比以前更嚴重。
