美國愛達荷州一名女子，在天空打雷時，不但沒有前往安全地方避難，還帶女兒一同到戶外「觀賞」閃電，希望能捕捉到壯觀場面，未料卻不幸遭雷擊中，而過程畫面全都錄。

據外媒報導，上周美國一名46歲女子雷伊（Stephanie Rey）和女兒跑到街上，觀賞閃電來襲的景象，當時雷伊相當專注地拿著手機拍攝天空，女兒則趴在距雷伊10英呎遠的地方錄影。這時一道刺眼的閃光驟現，伴隨著駭人的慘叫和有如槍響的雷聲，只見雷伊竟硬生生地被雷劈中，且過程和畫面還全被女兒錄下！

雷伊遭雷劈後和女兒急忙逃跑，她驚恐地大叫：「我想我剛被雷劈中了！」，而事後她向媒體表示，除了全身有輕微的刺痛感外，她的身體狀況還算可以，並對自己的「大難不死」心存感激。
